Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The motor is the one component that actually produces suction in a backpack vacuum, and this unit is the replacement motor for the Powr-Flite BVP5.1 and for the BP6P, BP6S, BP10P, and BP10S backpacks.
Vacuum motors are a wear item on any machine that runs for hours at a stretch, which is normal for a commercial backpack in daily use. The signs a motor is going are usually loud before they are total, a rising whine or grinding sound, a burning smell, suction that fades and returns, or the motor cutting out and restarting on its own. A motor that has stopped completely, sparked, or tripped a breaker should be replaced rather than run again.
