The most common mistake Oreck owners make is running the machine with a full bag. Oreck uprights rely on strong, unobstructed airflow, and a packed bag cuts suction dramatically. We recommend changing the bag when it is about two-thirds full — and always using genuine Oreck bags, which are engineered to match the machine's filtration specs.
