Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Supplied with its spring, this handle socket assembly replaces the joint where the handle meets the machine body on Eureka and Sanitaire commercial uprights in the C4046 family and the SC899 family, part number 36648A2.
Every push, pull and recline the machine goes through travels across that one joint, so it wears from use rather than from age. A cracked socket, or a spring that has lost its tension, makes the whole vacuum feel unstable: the handle sways side to side, refuses to stay upright unassisted, or drops on its own while you are working. Fit the supplied spring rather than reusing the old one, since a tired spring will make a new socket feel loose from the first day.
