Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The fan draws air through the motor housing on 2000-series Eureka and Sanitaire uprights, and this Lexan replacement, part number 12988, restores that airflow when the original has cracked or lost a blade.
A damaged fan typically shows up as a drop in suction paired with a rattling or scraping noise that was not there before, since a chipped blade throws the fan out of balance as it spins. Left in place, an unbalanced fan can wear at whatever it is rubbing against every time the motor runs. Lexan is a lightweight, impact-resistant plastic, which is why it is the common material for fans in this size and speed range.
