Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 574486 is a complete base assembly for Eureka and Sanitaire commercial uprights, molded in black, secured with screws, and built with the rear wheels set in from the edge of the housing rather than mounted outside it.
The mounting style and wheel position matter far more than the color when ordering. This one is cataloged as the screw-type base with the rear wheels inside the housing, and a base carrying its wheels on the outside is a separate part that will not bolt up in its place. Before ordering, look at the base you are replacing: rear wheels sitting within the housing width, and screw-type fixings, both point to this part.
Replacement usually follows a crack near a wheel post or the belt guard, a machine that has started scraping across the floor, or a leading edge worn thin from years of commercial use. It fits Eureka and Sanitaire models S635A, SL635A and SL635B.
Because these bases see daily contact with the floor in commercial settings, inspect the wheel posts and the leading edge on a regular schedule rather than waiting for a full crack to appear, since catching a hairline stress line early is a quick fix while a machine still rolling on a broken base can do further damage to the brush roll mounts riding inside it.
