Shipping Information

We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Most in-stock orders using standard shipping are processed within 1-5 business days, and most arrive 2-11 business days after they are placed. Backordered and special-order items may take longer. Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is the clean air motor assembly (part D486-2100) for the original Riccar Synchrony and Simplicity Brilliance Tandem Air uprights. Ametek builds the motor and it arrives as a complete assembly, so there is no need to transfer parts from the old unit beyond what your machine's housing requires.

A clean air motor pulls filtered air after the bag rather than dirty air straight off the floor, which is why it is a separate service part from the direct air motor on this platform. Loss of suction at the hose, a rising noise level or a burning smell under load all point toward motor replacement.
