The genuine Miele 12307261 dust bin and separator assembly with cartridge filter replaces the dirt-collection and separation assembly on the original Triflex HX1. Also called a dust cup, dirt bin, or dust container assembly.
Check compatibility before ordering
- Fits: original Triflex HX1 models with type codes SMUL0 or SMML0.
- Does not fit: HX1 Facelift, including SMUL1 / SMML5; Triflex HX2; or Duoflex HX1.
- Cat & Dog, Pro, and other trim names do not establish compatibility. Check the complete type code on the machine label.
What is included?
One genuine Miele dust bin / separator assembly with the cartridge filter included. You do not need to purchase an additional filter to use this assembly; the separately linked filter is an optional spare.
Original HX1 versus HX1 Facelift
The original HX1 and HX1 Facelift use different separator and fine-dust-filter designs. Part 12307261 is not a universal HX1 replacement or a conversion kit for the newer generation.

Not sure which version you have? Send us a photo of the model/serial label and your existing dust bin before ordering. “HX1,” the machine color, or a trim name alone is not enough to identify the separator.
