Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part A856 is a Style Y allergen filtration paper bag for Hoover upright vacuums, sold three to a pack. Hoover publishes its own Type Y bags as fitting Hoover upright cleaners, including the WindTunnel uprights, that take a Type Y or Type Z bag, which is why the letter on the bag door settles fit here rather than one particular model number.

Suction on an upright with a full bag tends to fade gradually, so the change is easy to miss day to day until you notice the machine is not pulling debris out of carpet the way it did a week earlier. Because the fill also cuts down how much the media can trap, running an allergen bag past that point works against the reason you bought it in the first place. A fresh bag from this pack brings both airflow and filtration back to where they should be.
