Returns & Exchanges

Part TF8081BV is a Vaculine inlet adapter, catalogued by Trovac under central vacuum inlets, valves and dustpans. It sits between a wall inlet valve and the PVC tubing behind it, giving the valve body a fitting to seat into rather than a bare pipe end.

Installers reach for a piece like this whenever the inlet valve's own connection does not line up cleanly with the pipe run behind the wall, which happens often enough on both new installs and on older inlets being replaced. Molded in white, it disappears behind the inlet plate rather than showing at the finished wall.

Set it the way the rest of the Vaculine line is set: clean the mating surfaces, apply central vacuum PVC cement, and seat the adapter fully so the joint is airtight once the wall is closed up. Give the cement its full cure time before the inlet valve is fastened over it and the system is put back into service, since a joint closed up while still soft is a common source of a slow leak later on.
