Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Part 12.6KTSWA400SE is the switch harness for Beam and Wessel Werk central vacuum hoses in the 5-foot and 6-foot lengths, wired for non-dual switching. It is the handle-mounted rocker switch together with the wiring that carries its on/off signal back through the hose to the machine end.

Replace it when the hose's on/off control has stopped working reliably: no response at all, a control that only works if you hold it at a certain angle, or a hose that turns the vacuum on and off on its own as you move it. Those symptoms point to the switch or to a broken wire in its leads rather than to the vacuum itself, especially when the machine still starts and runs normally from its own controls.

This is a non-dual harness, meaning it carries a single switching signal rather than separate controls; confirm your hose uses non-dual switching before ordering, since Beam and Wessel Werk hoses in this length also come in dual-switch versions that use a different harness.

Route the new harness the same way the old one ran through the hose, avoiding sharp kinks at either end, which is where the wire inside is most likely to fatigue and break again over time. Take a photo of the original routing before pulling it out if the hose is one you have not been inside before.
