Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is the valve switch cover for Riccar MV series machines, cataloged under reference GA800 and stocked as part B480-1814. Rather than being the switch or valve mechanism itself, it is the molded cap fitted over the switch so the actuator can still move freely while dust, lint and stray fingers stay off the mechanism underneath.

Age, plus the repeated heating and cooling that a running vacuum body goes through, is what makes plastic covers like this one turn brittle well before the switch itself wears out. A missing or cracked cover leaves the switch exposed directly to debris, and that exposure is typically what shortens the life of the pricier component the cover was meant to guard.
