Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 17-8916-07 is the thermal baffle on a Titan T750 backpack unit, the internal piece that directs cooling air around the motor while keeping that path sealed against the rest of the housing.
A crack in this baffle creates two problems that show up together, which is exactly what makes the fault confusing to diagnose from the outside. Air meant to carry heat away from the motor windings escapes through the split instead of doing its job, and a split that opens into the working air path bleeds suction from what the machine delivers to the wand as well, so a T750 with a cracked baffle tends to run noticeably warmer, often while cleaning weaker, with nothing visibly wrong to the eye.
Long shifts and the knocks that come with job site use are what age and split internal parts like this one first, well ahead of the outer housing, since heat cycling makes the material brittle over time in a way steady room temperature use never would. A machine that has been in daily commercial service for a couple of seasons is a reasonable candidate for this fault the first time it starts running hot for no obvious reason.
This replacement matches the T750's original part dimensions and drops into place without modification. While the housing is open for the swap, it is worth looking over the neighboring parts too, since the same heat and knocks that crack a baffle age everything around them.
