Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 17-8018-04 is the control module for Titan TCS5702 and TCS6602 central vacuum power units, the board that manages motor activation and reads the low-voltage signal sent from an inlet valve when a hose is plugged in. When a system stops turning on at the wall, runs without stopping, or responds unpredictably to different inlets, this board is a common point of failure well before the motor itself.
The failure pattern is usually easy to separate from a motor problem. A bad control module tends to produce inconsistent behavior, working from one inlet but not another, starting on its own, or needing the hose wiggled before the signal registers. A failing motor, by contrast, usually announces itself with a change in sound or a drop in suction that stays constant no matter which inlet you use. If the unit runs strong once it starts but is unreliable about starting at all, the board is the more likely cause.
Swapping the module is a contained job: the power unit's cover comes off, the old board unplugs from its wiring harness, and the replacement seats in the same mounting points, restoring normal start and stop behavior without disturbing the motor or the pipe network behind it.
