Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Central vacuum performance depends on water lift more than most buyers expect, and the Titan TCS-8575 delivers 141 inches of it from a power unit built around a 6 gallon collection canister. Mounted in a garage or utility room and piped to inlets around the house, it is designed to run for years without anyone giving it a second thought.
Higher water lift keeps suction consistent at the far end of a long pipe run, so an inlet two floors up or at the opposite end of the house performs close to what you feel at the closest one. The 6 gallon canister empties less often than most portables, and because the unit exhausts outside the living space, fine dust leaves the building instead of recirculating through a bag.

The TCS-8575 is the better fit for a home with an especially long or elbow-heavy pipe run, since every fitting the air passes through costs a little suction along the way, more than a shorter, more direct run would lose. If your system feels weak at only the farthest inlets while the closest ones are fine, that is usually a pipe-run problem rather than a motor problem, and more water lift is the direct answer.
Professional installation is the norm for a first-time central vacuum setup, and if you are replacing an existing TCS-8575, match the bracket spacing and pipe stub position at your current mount before the new unit goes up, since a shifted mounting point can put strain on the existing pipe connections.
