Ceiling fans, curtain tops, the back of a wardrobe and the high edge of a stairwell are all jobs a telescopic wand exists for. This gray and black tube slides out and locks anywhere along its travel, so the working length is set by the job and by your height rather than by a fixed tube that is always slightly wrong. Part 60237UC is the SEBO telescopic wand for the K3, C3.1, D4 and E3.
SEBO draws it into two of its exploded parts sheets. On the AIRBELT E diagram it is position 37, listed together with 60238AD, and on the AIRBELT K diagram it is position 36, shown there with the brush adaptor. The lock is the part that matters day to day: it has to hold the chosen length while you lean on the wand to work a rug, and a tube that creeps shorter under load, or one that will not release at all, is the usual reason a wand gets replaced. Grit drawn into the joint is normally what causes both.

A wand is a wear item in the same way a hose is. It gets stood on, closed in doors and dropped down stairs, and a dented outer tube will bind on the inner section however clean the joint is kept. The AIRBELT E diagram lists 60238AD alongside this tube and the AIRBELT K sheet shows it together with a brush adaptor, so check what came with your original wand before treating a bare tube as a like-for-like swap.
