We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.
Most in-stock orders using standard shipping are processed within 1-5 business days, and most arrive 2-11 business days after they are placed. Backordered and special-order items may take longer. Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Soft carpet is a specific problem in vacuum design: modern plush and frieze carpets can stall a standard upright's base plate, gripping it instead of letting it glide. The Riccar SupraLite R17 is built with a base plate suited to exactly that kind of carpet, within Riccar's lightweight SupraLite upright line.
Being part of the SupraLite family means the R17 trades some of the bulk of Riccar's full-size uprights for an easier machine to lift, carry between floors, and store in a smaller closet, without giving up the bagged collection that keeps dust sealed away at disposal rather than stirred back into the room.
Luxury in this model's name refers to its position within the SupraLite range, above the Entry-level configuration, rather than a claim about any single feature. It is the SupraLite Riccar built for households with delicate or plush carpet as the priority, more than an all-purpose pick for a mixed-surface home.
Base plate design matters more than most buyers expect until they own a vacuum that gets it wrong. A plate cut for dense, low-pile commercial carpet can catch and stall on the deep pile of a plush residential rug, forcing the machine to be muscled forward rather than glided. The R17 exists specifically because that mismatch is common enough for Riccar to build a dedicated configuration around solving it. Vacuums and More carries the R17 as one of Riccar's authorized dealers, and if your home is mostly bare floor with only some soft carpet, we can point you toward a SupraLite configuration better matched to that mix.
