Replacement screw for a CleanMax skid plate, stocked as part A732-0500 and sold one at a time. A skid plate is the wear strip mounted beneath the cleaning head, absorbing the scrape of carpet and hard flooring as the machine drags across it, and small fasteners like this one hold it in place.
These screws sit in the single most exposed spot on the whole machine. Grit builds up around them, and normal vibration backs them out over the course of thousands of cleaning passes; they also tend to go missing the first time someone pulls the skid plate off to change a brushroll or belt. Once a plate is running with a screw missing, it goes crooked, then starts catching, and eventually gouges the very flooring the plate exists to shield.

Hold this screw against the ones still in your baseplate before fitting it, since a single head often mixes more than one fastener size, and getting one wrong leaves a corner of the plate loose.
