We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.
Most in-stock orders using standard shipping are processed within 1-5 business days, and most arrive 2-11 business days after they are placed. Backordered and special-order items may take longer. Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Simplicity built the S1006 as a lightweight portable canister, meant for the cleaning jobs where hauling a full-size upright through a house or up a narrow stairwell is more trouble than it is worth. Its compact canister body carries room to room by hand, sized to work as a second machine in a household or the primary vacuum in a smaller apartment, dorm or workshop. A canister this size is also easier to store on a shelf or in a closet than a full upright, which matters as much as cleaning performance for anyone tight on space.
This model uses Simplicity SS-6 paper replacement bags.
A paper bag canister has one real advantage over a bagless design at this size: disposal is sealed and immediate, which matters more on a small machine where the alternative is emptying a tiny dust cup far more often than on a larger vacuum. It also keeps fine dust contained during disposal, which a small bagless cup tends to release back into the air the moment it is opened over a trash can, an issue that stands out more on a compact machine where the cup is opened often. The machine itself runs a 6 amp motor on a 25 foot cord, weighs about 5 pounds, and carries a rear blower port that will inflate an air mattress or clear a workshop corner where sweeping cannot reach.
