These are disposable paper collection bags for Shop-Vac wet/dry vacuums with 16 to 22 gallon tanks, sold three to a package, part GK-54005. A collection bag at this capacity is meant for large amounts of pick-up residue, and running a bag instead of collecting loose in the drum keeps that debris out of the cartridge filter.
Fine debris such as drywall dust and sawdust clogs a cartridge filter quickly when it is drawn in loose, and once the filter is coated, suction drops and stays down until the filter is cleaned. A collection bag catches that material at the inlet instead, so the filter stays cleaner through the job.
Emptying is simpler too: lift the sealed bag out and set it straight in the trash rather than dumping a drum full of fine dust into the air. Worth fitting before sanding, drywall work, or any dusty cleanup.
