    Complete, and left-hand: swivel neck support 75116 is supplied as an assembly rather than a bare moulding, which is what the abbreviation cpl. against position 118 of the SOFTCASE CE12 parts list refers to. It forms one side of the joint that lets the handle section pivot over the power head while the machine is steered.

    The swivel is a busy piece of engineering, and the diagram shows why. Between the two supports SEBO lists the cable channel at position 112, the two-wire swivel neck cable at 113, the right-hand blower housing at 115, the light ivory rotor at 116 and the left-hand blower housing at 117. Air and power both cross this joint, so a support that has cracked or worn at its bearing face does more than feel sloppy in the hand.

    Slack in the swivel, a neck that has begun to sag towards one side, or a handle that flops instead of holding an angle all point at the supports. The right-hand support carries its own number, 75129 at position 111, and is listed without the complete designation, so the two sides are ordered separately and are not a matched pair in the box.
