Rods fail by bending, and a linkage that has bent no longer delivers its full travel to the far end. Part 75094 is the switching rod SEBO supplies for the SOFTCASE CE12, the slim length of metal that carries movement across the machine into its switching arrangement.
Because a rod either transmits movement or it does not, the fault it causes tends to look worse than it is. Everything else in the circuit tests correctly, the machine simply refuses to change state on demand, and the action at the operator's end feels dead or short. SEBO numbers the rest of that switching arrangement in the CE12 parts list and catalogue: the switching unit 75124ER, the magnet support supplied assembled as 75096ER at position 132, the magnet lever 75079ER, the complete switch 05112ER at position 140, the orange on and off button 75061OR, and the 120 volt printed circuit board 75126ER at position 120.
