The roller inside the BALANCE A1 power brush has to turn in something, and on the right-hand side that something is 8802AM, drawn at position 7 of the A1 parts list as the RH bearing block for the power brush.
The drive chain around it is short and easy to follow. Position 15 is the power brush itself, 95030AM, supplied as the complete head. Running inside it is one of two rollers, MicroCare 8816AM at position 16 or MultiCare 8815AM at position 17, and the end of whichever roller is fitted seats in this block. Hair, thread and carpet fibre travel down the roller shaft and wind into the seat until the roller starts to drag. The complaint arrives in a predictable order: noise first, then a roller that stalls on carpet while the motor keeps running, then scoring on the roller end where it has been rubbing rather than turning.
Check two things before ordering. This is the right-hand block specifically, and it is the only bearing block drawn on the A1 sheet, so there is no left-hand row alongside it to pick by mistake. And a block will not cure a roller problem: if the bristles are worn flat or the head housing is cracked, 8816AM, 8815AM and 95030AM are the numbers that fix those instead. Take battery 95020SE out of the machine before working inside the head, so the brush cannot spin up with your hands in it.
