Every hour a SOFTCASE CE12 spends working passes through one component, and it is the handle grip. Part 75103GS is SEBO's complete gray black grip for the machine, and it takes pride of place as position 1 in the exploded parts list, ahead of the 557 millimetre handle rod 75033 at position 2 and the gray black handle guides 75156GS at position 3.
Gray black is not an arbitrary choice here. The machine itself is finished in white with gray black trim, and the same colour runs through the cable hook 75026GS, the handle guides 75156GS and both blower housings, 75063GS on the left and 75064GS on the right. A grip in the factory colour therefore disappears into the machine instead of announcing that a repair has happened. Grips are replaced for the obvious reasons: the moulding scuffs and goes shiny, a seam splits, or the grip works loose on the rod and starts to rotate under the hand. Since it arrives as a finished assembly, the swap is a fitting job rather than a rebuild, done at the top of the handle rod with nothing below it disturbed.
