The front cover is the panel you see and reach for at every bag change, which is also why it collects the scratches, the drops and the occasional cracked corner. SEBO 51051CISB is that panel in pastel blue for the AUTOMATIC X7 Premium, supplied complete.
Mechanically it does two jobs at once. It closes the bag compartment away so the chamber stays shut and tidy while the machine is running, and it carries the finished face of the upright. Damage almost always begins at a hinge boss or a latch edge: a hairline appears after a knock or a fall down stairs, the panel loses its location, and from then on it will not shut square. A cover that sits proud is worth attending to promptly rather than living with, because the same fault that stops it closing flat also lets the compartment sit part open in use.
Because the part is catalogued as a finished assembly, nothing has to be transferred across from the broken original before it can go on the machine.
