Pastel blue is one of three soft finishes SEBO offers on the AUTOMATIC X7 Premium, and 5721CI is the carrying handle moulded to suit it. On the exploded view for this range the carrying handle is item 30, sitting directly under the cable hook at item 31 and the stop spring at item 32 — the trio responsible for cord storage at the top of the body.
What this grip does is obvious right up until it stops doing it. Every stair, every car boot, every trip down to a basement puts the full mass of the machine through two fixing points, and the failure runs to a script: a fine line opens beside one boss, widens slightly with each lift, and then the grip parts company with the vacuum at the worst possible moment. A creak or a little extra flex is the early warning, and it is a better moment to order than the one after. Fitting is uncomplicated, because the new grip picks up the same two mountings and nothing else along the top of the body needs disturbing.
