Blower and swivel neck in one gray black assembly, 75138ER handles two jobs at once on a SOFTCASE CE12: it is the pivot the handle turns on, and the duct that moves air up from the power head towards the bag housing. That double role is why it turns up in two very different fault descriptions.
The first is lost suction. A crack anywhere in the duct bleeds air away at the joint, and the nozzle goes weak while the motor carries on sounding perfectly healthy. The second is steering. Once the pivot wears, the handle flops rather than holding the angle it is put at, and the head follows late. A single assembly answers both, restoring a tight air path and a steering action that answers straight away.
