Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The ProTeam scallop tool, part 100147, is a 14-inch carpet floor tool with a scalloped front edge, sized for the 1-1/2 inch wand connection used across ProTeam's backpack line. It is listed for commercial low to medium pile carpet and durable flooring rather than for delicate finishes.

The scallops are the working part. Cutting the leading edge into a row of notches lets the tool ride over carpet instead of sealing flat against it, so air keeps moving under the head and the nozzle lifts grit, paper scraps and clips rather than stalling against the pile. A flat-edged bare-floor tool does the opposite job and is a separate purchase.

Backpack machines earn their keep by covering ground fast, which means the floor tool takes daily wear from being dragged across carpet, tile and thresholds. Once the scalloped edge rounds over or chips, it no longer holds the head at the right distance from the carpet, and pickup falls behind what the machine's suction can otherwise deliver.
