Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is the replacement motor for the Sanitaire SC530A and SC535 backpack vacuum, cataloged as part 140362 and sold under the Electrolux-Eureka, Eureka and Sanitaire names for the SC535A power unit.
Backpack motors run for long stretches at a time on commercial cleaning routes, and that duty cycle is what wears them out. Watch for suction that fades gradually over a shift rather than failing all at once, a rising whine as the bearings dry out, or a hot smell building up during use. Any of those, left running, tends to take the surrounding wiring and harness with it.
On a backpack unit the motor sits inside the harness housing against the operator's back, so a failing motor is often noticed as heat felt through the harness before it is heard as a change in sound. Treat noticeable warmth at the housing during a normal shift as an early warning worth checking rather than something to work through.
Before ordering, confirm your backpack unit is the SC530A or SC535 rather than a different Sanitaire commercial model, since backpack motors are matched to a specific housing and are not interchangeable across the line.
