Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Product details

Part 579027 is the gray base assembly for the Sanitaire S647 commercial upright. It is the complete lower housing: the shell the brush roll sits in, the wheel mounts and the floor of the suction path, supplied as one unit rather than as separate pieces.

Machines in daily commercial use wear the base out first. Cracks open around the wheel posts, the leading edge thins against the floor, and once the housing flexes the brush roll no longer meets the carpet evenly. You hear a new rattle under load and see a strip of the path left dirty behind you.

Replacing the base rather than patching it restores the seal and the head height in one go. It also fits the Sanitaire 7809. Have a belt and brush roll on hand, since both are exposed with the machine apart and are cheap to renew at the same time.
