Part 1692270000 is the 18-inch bottom plate fitted to Royal's commercial metal upright line, confirmed for the 1058Z, 1059Z, and CR5158Z. This panel closes the underside of the machine and holds the seal the nozzle depends on for suction.

These metal-bodied uprights are built for daily janitorial use, and the plate underneath takes the impact of thresholds, door frames, and furniture legs long before any other part shows wear. A gouge or crack lets air leak past the nozzle, so pickup drops off well before the damage looks bad enough to explain it visually.

Crews usually notice the symptom before they trace the cause: pickup falls off along part of the nozzle width, or passes that used to come up clean start leaving a strip of debris behind. Neither clue points straight at the plate, so the damage often goes unaddressed until someone tips the machine over and sees the gouge along one edge.
