Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Part B318-1401K is the main circuit board built with 8-volt voltage regulation for Riccar and Simplicity uprights on the PV platform, revision .7 and later. Because board revisions on this platform aren't sold as interchangeable, compare the stamped marking on your old board to this listing before ordering, rather than going by the machine's name alone.

A failing board most often shows up as a machine that will not power on at all, one that starts and then cuts out on its own, or a switch that stops doing anything predictable, after you have cleared the power cord, the switch, and the motor as individual suspects. Because the board sits between incoming power and everything else electrical in the machine, it is worth checking last, once those simpler parts are ruled out.
