Shipping Information

We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

D012-1200 is the clutch agitator assembly for 20 Series uprights from Simplicity and Riccar that run a poly-V belt. The clutch is what engages the agitator to the drive so the brushroll turns while the machine is running and disengages it when the handle is upright, protecting both the belt and the carpet.

If the agitator has stopped turning while the motor still runs at normal volume, or it only turns intermittently, the clutch mechanism is a reasonable place to look before assuming the belt itself has failed.

Confirm your upright uses the poly-V belt drive rather than a flat belt before ordering, since Simplicity and Riccar built the 20 Series with more than one drive configuration.

Inspect the belt itself for glazing or cracking at the same time, since a slipping belt and a worn clutch produce a similar loss of brushroll power and are easiest to rule out together. Ships to you in 2-5 business days.
