Shipping Information

We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Most in-stock orders using standard shipping are processed within 1-5 business days, and most arrive 2-11 business days after they are placed. Backordered and special-order items may take longer. Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

B388-2400C is the acrylic felt top seal for the agitator chamber on PV and MV coded Riccar and Simplicity uprights. This felt closes off the space where the brushroll housing meets the machine body, so suction pulls through the carpet rather than leaking around the edges.

Felt like this compresses and mats with fine dust over years of use, and once it stops touching the housing the machine can sound completely normal while lifting very little. A quiet motor paired with weak pickup is exactly the pattern that points to this seal rather than the motor or belt.

A seal that has gone stiff rather than simply compressed is a sign it should have been replaced sooner, since felt that no longer flexes cannot hold steady contact with the housing as the brushroll spins. Inspect the felt on both sides of the chamber at the same time, since it wears at a similar rate.
