We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Product details

Spring assist axle shaft in black, part B370-4114, for Riccar Radiance uprights. The shaft carries the spring-assist mechanism that helps carry the weight of the vacuum body as the machine tilts, so the handle feels lighter through its travel and the nozzle stays down on the carpet.

Because the shaft is under spring tension every time the vacuum is used, a bent or worn one shows up as a stiff, notchy tilt or a nozzle that no longer settles evenly. Replacing the shaft is a straightforward repair that restores the original feel without touching the motor or brushroll.
