Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The Riccar Multi-Clean Deluxe, model R70, is a cordless wet and dry floor cleaner for sealed hard surfaces: run it as a smart mop that washes and vacuums in one pass, or lift the handheld unit off for crumbs, upholstery and above-floor work.
The part that changes ownership of a machine like this is what happens after the mopping stops. The R70 washes its own brush roll and dries it after use, and it separates dirty water into its own tank rather than recirculating it, which removes the step most owners of combination machines end up skipping. What still falls to you is emptying that dirty tank rather than leaving it to sit, since standing water causes odor on its own regardless of how well the brush was cleaned.
Riccar rates the 21.6V pack behind a 500 watt motor at up to 90 minutes of dry vacuuming or 29 minutes of mopping, with a 5 hour recharge, so a full mop of a large hard-floor area sits well inside one charge while back-to-back sessions do not. Voice alerts call out mode changes, battery level, water tank status and blockages, which in practice is what keeps a two-mode machine from being run in the wrong mode. At about 11.3 lb. in mop configuration it is a floor machine rather than a light handheld, though the detachable unit on its own is far lighter.
