Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part D370-1100C is the current replacement baseplate assembly for PV-chassis Riccar and Simplicity uprights. This baseplate forms the underside of the nozzle housing, the flat surface that squares the brush opening to the floor and takes the drag of every pass across carpet and hard flooring.

A baseplate can wear thin without giving any outward sign, since the machine keeps running as if nothing changed. The real tell is at the front edge, where a widened gap starts drawing in air from the room instead of pulling it through the carpet fibers, and that is enough on its own to quietly steal away pickup.

Run a hand along the front edge of your old baseplate before ordering. A visibly worn or chipped edge, or a plate that no longer sits flat, is the confirmation that this part is the fix rather than the belt or the brush roll.
