We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Product details

Genuine replacement motor cover for the Riccar 8955 upright, part number B123-1646. The cover encloses the motor compartment and forms one wall of the machine's sealed airflow path, so it does more than tidy up the look of the body.

Two things usually send this part into a repair order. The first is impact damage, since the cover sits where the machine takes knocks. The second is heat and age making the plastic brittle around its mounting bosses, at which point one lets go and the panel no longer pulls down flat. Either way, a cover that does not seat properly costs airflow at the point where the machine can least afford it. Inspect the seal face and bosses while the cover is off, then order B123-1646 by number.
