    Return eligibility

    Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

    For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

    This is Powr-Flite's round-profile drive belt for Eureka upright vacuums, sold individually as F631-TACONY. The cross-section shape matters here every bit as much as overall length, since a round-profile belt seats into a rounded pulley channel, and swapping in a flat belt of the same length will ride crooked in that channel rather than settle true.

    Powr-Flite catalogs it as a Long Life belt and lists it for select Eureka, Sanitaire and Kent commercial uprights as well as for its own machines: PF50, PF70EC, PF70VC, PF70DC, PF757CEC, PF757CVC, PF1886EC, PF1886VC, PF1886DC, PF1887EC, PF1887VC and PF1887DC.

    Belts are the least expensive wear item on an upright, and also the one most often left in service well past its useful life, because a stretched belt does not always announce itself right away. It can still spin the brushroll freely with the nozzle lifted off the floor, then slip the moment the bristles load against carpet fibers, so agitation quietly drops off while the vacuum sounds no different from normal. A shiny, glazed band on the inner face of the belt is the clearest visual sign that it has been slipping rather than gripping.

    Compare profile and approximate length against the belt being replaced before ordering, since a round groove will not accept a flat belt at any length. A brushroll that stalls under moderate hand pressure while the machine runs points the same way a glazed belt does, and it is worth turning the roll by hand with the belt off at the same time so a dragging bearing does not get blamed on a tired belt.
