The Rigel Deluxe, model PV130-W14-U, is Powr-Flite's two-speed commercial upright, sized at a 14 in. cleaning path and built to run quieter than a single-speed machine when that matters and at full power when it does not.
A two-speed motor is a genuinely useful feature in shared or occupied buildings rather than a marketing add-on. Powr-Flite rates the machine at 69 dB(A) or less on low and 73 dB(A) on high, so dropping to the lower setting around occupied desks, waiting rooms or lobbies keeps noise down without switching the vacuum off, and stepping back up once the space clears means the operator is not choosing between a quiet clean and a thorough one.
