    Part X1990 is a motor mounting gasket cut 3/4 in. thick, listed for the Powr-Flite 72855A-115.1 motor. Powr-Flite catalogues that motor as an Ametek 6.6 in., two-stage, 115 VAC extractor vacuum motor.

    This gasket goes between the motor face and its mounting surface, closing that gap so intake air follows the ducting the machine was engineered around instead of leaking past the joint, while also cushioning the motor where it seats against the housing. Getting the thickness right matters more than most gaskets, because it controls how deep the motor sits in its mount and how much squeeze the fasteners put on the seal, so swapping in a thinner or thicker piece throws off both the airtightness and the mounting load.
