Restore an airtight seal on your M.D. bag-type central vacuum unit with this replacement lid gasket, SKU 219. The gasket sits between the lid and the canister body; over years of service the gasket can compress, harden, or tear, letting air leak in at the top of the unit. Because a central vacuum depends on a sealed canister to generate suction, even a small lid leak translates into noticeably weaker pickup at every inlet.
