This is the Lamb Ametek 117123 central vacuum motor, SKU 199X — a brand-new, three-stage, 220-240 volt Ametek original fitted to a range of central vacuum makes and models. Beyond the 117123 itself, it is the designated replacement for the 116859 motor. Labels showing 7123 or 11-7123 refer to this same motor.

Plan around a 900-1,200 hour service life. The classic failure signs: mini breaker trips, an electrical smell, strong blue sparking from the top of the motor, or a motor that quits and later restarts by itself. Mounting the replacement takes three bolts and two wire connections — customers regularly comment on how simple the swap is. The 117123's carbon brushes can also be renewed; order two 117123 motor brushes and change them before the motor is on its final hours.
