SKU 202Z is the Lamb Ametek 116429 central vacuum motor — new from the factory, never rebuilt — a 110-120 volt, two-stage Ametek original installed in a variety of central vacuum brands and models. It replaces the 115923 and many other motors sharing the same dimensions and characteristics. A motor stamped 6429 or 11-6429 is the identical part.

Service life runs about 700-1,000 hours. Replace the motor if the mini breaker keeps popping, you catch an electrical odor, blue sparks flare from the motor top, or the unit shuts down by itself and later restarts — though if you hear no click at all, suspect the relay rather than the motor. Installation comes down to three or four screw brackets and basic wire connections. When brushes wear, two 116429 carbon motor brushes restore it; brush service is best done before the motor is fully spent.
