The Lamb Ametek 116119 central vacuum motor (SKU 204) is a workhorse: a new, never-rebuilt, three-stage Ametek original on 110-120 volt power. With a 7.2" bottom diameter it turns out 135" of waterlift, 94.3 CFM, and 438 air watts at 12.3 amps. It replaces the 116103 motor.
Voltage note: the Lamb 116136 delivers this same motor in a 240-volt configuration, so double-check your unit's supply voltage before ordering the 116119.

Typical wear-out signals: mini breaker trips, an electrical odor, blue sparks at the motor top, or self-shutdowns that clear temporarily. Expected life is 900-1,200 hours. Swapping the motor means undoing three bolts and hooking up two wires; the 116119's carbon brushes can also be replaced (two required) before the motor is fully worn.
