Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The nozzle lock lever clamps the cleaning head to the body of a Kirby upright, and this genuine Kirby part, 121056, is the lever used from the 516 right through to current models. That long run covers machines as far apart as the Classic 1CR and the Avalir 2, taking in the G5, GSix, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, Heritage II, Sentria and Avalir Platinum.
Every time you change from the nozzle to the shampooer or a hose, the lever takes the load. Years of that wear the catch face round, and a rounded catch lets the nozzle rock, click over bumps, or drop off the machine while you are working. You will usually hear it before you see it.
A new lever restores a positive, tight lock-up. It swaps in with the nozzle removed, and it is worth checking the nozzle lock spring at the same time since the two wear together.
