Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Hardwood, tile and laminate flooring needs a buffer between itself and a metal nozzle paired with a stiff brush roll built for carpet, and that is exactly what this bare floor duster pad provides. Part 205906S fits over the underside of a Kirby nozzle, turning the machine into a hardwood-safe duster instead of a carpet cleaner.
Once dust and grit pack into the nap, pickup stops and the pad starts shoving debris around the room instead, and grit trapped in that nap is precisely what leaves fine scratches across a hardwood finish over repeated use. A pad that has gone flat and matted, or turned grey down to the backing material, has already given what it has to give and is due for a swap.
Coverage spans Avalir, Sentria II, Sentria, Diamond Edition, Ultimate G and the Generation-series machines, and because the pad goes on and comes off in seconds it is simple to switch mid-job when moving from carpet onto a bare floor section. A home with mostly hard flooring goes through these faster than most, keeping a spare on hand avoids running a worn pad past its useful life and trading dust pickup for scattered debris.
