Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This front wheel shaft assembly is the genuine Kirby axle for the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum, sold as part 131614S. It carries the front wheels and includes the lower section of the jack pedal, so it is the part that sets front ride height and lets the nozzle drop and lift as you change the carpet setting.
A worn or bent shaft shows up as wheels that splay, a machine that pulls to one side, or a jack pedal that no longer holds its setting. Because the shaft also locates the pedal, damage here makes height adjustment vague and can leave the nozzle riding hard on the carpet.
One caution worth heeding: this shaft is cut short for the Avalir platform and will not carry the wheels used on older Kirby uprights. Check your model plate before ordering.
