Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is the bolt and screw set that anchors the nozzle lock to a Kirby upright, supplied as genuine Kirby hardware under part number 1211S. It covers the long run of machines from the 516 through the Heritage generation: the 517 to 562, the Dual Sanitronic 50 and 80, the Classic 1CR, Classic Omega 1CB and Classic III 2CB, and later machines up to Sentria II, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum.
Hardware this small gets lost in a rebuild or rounded off by the wrong screwdriver, and a stripped bolt lets the nozzle lock shift under load. Once the lock has play, the nozzle rattles and the lever stops holding, which is often blamed on the lever itself.
Fitting the correct bolt and screw protects the threads in the casting and puts the lock back at its proper tension. Compare the head style with what you removed before ordering.
