Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 6048727 is the redesigned housing with switch button for the Sanitaire SC3683, the lightweight EXTEND commercial canister vacuum. The switch button is molded into the shell, so housing and switch mount go on together as one assembly instead of two.

Sanitaire pairs this redesigned housing with a required companion part that must be ordered and installed alongside it, and independent parts listings for 6048727 repeat the same pairing requirement. Fitting the new housing without its matching companion part is likely to leave the switch misaligned or unable to seat correctly, so confirm the correct companion part with us before ordering rather than fitting this housing on its own.

A housing that has cracked around the switch opening can leave the button loose or unable to hold the on position, and once the plastic around the mount has broken away there is nothing left to press against, so the switch stops registering even though the contacts underneath are still good.
