Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This hose adapter is the fitting that joins the hose to the machine inlet on the S100, RSQ1 and FV500 portable canister vacuums, part BA00151.

Once the fitting cracks or the joint it forms loses its grip, the hose begins working loose under load and suction drops away right at the tool end even as the motor keeps sounding perfectly fine, which is why people often suspect the motor first when this adapter is the real cause. A quick way to check is to feel and listen around the joint while the machine runs; a hiss of air escaping or visible movement between the hose cuff and the adapter points straight back to this fitting rather than the motor.

Because the adapter is a wear item that takes a twisting load every time the hose is attached and removed, it is worth inspecting whenever a hose is replaced rather than assuming it is fine simply because the old hose lasted a long time.
